Cats protection helps thousands of cats across the UK every year. As a cat care volunteer you will be directly helping the stray and unwanted cats in Devon, providing them with hands on care and attention, you will play an important role in keeping the cats clean, happy and healthy until they are ready for a new start in a loving and caring home.

If you have a few spare hours a week and would like to do something worthwhile with it, why not join our friendly team at the Exeter Axhayes Adoption Centre , to help the cats in our care and become part of the UK's largest feline charity.

We are looking for individuals with:
1. Basic knowledge of cats and their care
2. Good observational skills
3. A level headed and practical approach
4. Ability to be calm, quiet and confident around cats

The cat care volunteer role requires you to be available to help in the morning of your chosen day to ensure the cat pens are clean before we open to the public. You are then welcome to stay on to socialise, play with and groom the cats for as many hours as you wish. All help that can be given is greatly appreciated however big or small.

We are currently looking for cat care volunteers on some weekdays.
